What I Learned From This Project
Liorby is our 2nd year 2nd term project in this project we were tasked with designing a lighting unit that would be able to transform from indoor usage to outdoors usage:
- Ergonomically designing hand held devices with the use of anthropometric measures and physical modelling.
- Lighting designing and concerns/considirations related to designing light sources.
- 3D Modelling with electronic components, Prototyping Process and further advancing my 3D printing Experience.
- Creating Technical drawings from 3D CAD models.
When I Look Back To This Project
Designing such a product has been a fantastic experience because:
- I love the campfire look in our design I think it brings the feeling of that envoriment right to any users home.
- Users interact with it directly through their hands, enhancing the tactile experience.
- In order to fit our project brief better we made 2 of the units undetachable. I would design these to in a detachable way.
- Incorporating various electronic components adds sophistication and convenience to the product's design.
- I would very much like to spend more time on it as i do with all my projects and i think that's one of the great aspects of design, you can always improve.
